Welcome to the St Mary's University School of Education 

The School of Education welcomes everyone with a passion for education. We work with undergraduate and postgraduate students across a wide range of programmes, including primary and secondary teacher training routes. We offer professional development opportunities for teachers and are in partnership with 500+ schools and other external organisations. The School of Education offers students vocationally relevant, professionally accredited, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in education-related disciplines and initial teacher training (ITT).

Students are taught by expert staff who research focused and/or specialist practitioners in education and ITT. We offer a range of outstanding programmes which are attractive to students and subsequent employers. They will develop vocational and transferable skills through academic study often complemented by work-based learning.

Undergraduate degrees

The School of Education at St Mary's University offers a range of undergraduate and foundation degrees at Primary and Early Years Foundation Stage levels.

Postgraduate programmes

We offer PGCE programmes at both Primary and Secondary levels, as well as wide range of education and teaching Master's degrees.
