Life After St Mary's
Graduating from St Mary’s means you become a member of our alumni community consisting of over 20,000 graduates and previous students of St Mary’s colloquially known as Simmarians
Alumni Office membership is free and gives you access to a range of services and benefits. You will automatically be registered with the Office when you graduate, but please be aware that you will be registered with the contact details you used during your time at St Mary's.
If your contact details have changed (particularly your email address), please fill in our online Alumni Response Form.
Social Media
Like the St Mary’s Facebook page to stay up to date with news, see pictures from your graduation ceremony and learn about upcoming alumni events. You can now also stay updated on all the latest St Mary’s news and information about forthcoming events by following us on Twitter. You can also network with other professionals who have graduated from St Mary’s on our LinkedIn group.
Events
An on-going Alumni Events programme will provide you with many opportunities to come back to campus to socialise and network with your fellow alumni. Events range from formal receptions hosted by the Principal, drinks in the SU bar to SimmStock. We’re constantly adding in new events and are open to any ideas you may have.
Benefits
St Mary’s alumni are entitled to many fantastic benefits including receiving the Simmarian Online, a newsletter including information on upcoming events and St Mary’s news, 10% discount for hiring rooms on campus, an exclusive rate for the use of our amazing sport facilities and 10% discount on studying further courses at St Mary’s, excluding PGCEs.
The Alumni Office can also help you organise reunions or your own events/parties, put you back in contact with old friends and help you give back to St Mary’s.
