Module and Timetable Information for 2013 / 2014

If you are selecting classes from different courses and across different year groups please be aware that there is an increased risk of a timetable clash. Timetables will be released in the weeks leading up to the start of term. Registry allow students time to finalise class choices after arrival. It is advisable to have at least 6 modules in mind. Please be assured that the International Office will be working closely with your home institution to ensure you find suitable modules.

The credits you receive for completing the modules can contribute towards your degree from your home university. Please note that the modules listed are subject to confirmation and to the individual classes recruiting students in sufficient numbers. Also note that due to validation processes, further modules will be added up to the end of June.

Individual Course Module Guides

We recommend that you read through the descriptions of the modules below with your academic advisor at your home university. If you or your advisor require further information as to whether a module is suitable for you, we will do our best to provide a full syllabus or to put you in contact with the relevant Programme Director at St Mary's. If you have any questions regarding this, please email studyabroad@smuc.ac.uk.

On the Study Abroad application form we will ask you to indicate at least six modules in order of preference so that upon arrival, and in discussion with the St Mary's Programme Directors concerned, the most suitable study programme can be established for you.

Unfortunately, due to home student demand, we will be unable to offer students the opportunity to take modules from our Media Arts course. It is possible that a place on a Media Arts module may become available in early September, however we can make no guarantee of this. Please contact the International Office if you have any questions about the modules listed, or if your co-ordinator would like more information about the course.
