The Seal of Approval by the Committee of Scholarly Editions of the Modern Language Association of America has been awarded to A Set of Six (2021) edited by Allan H. Simmons and Michael Foster, with Introduction and Notes by Owen Knowles and Allan H. Simmons.

Professor Allan H. Simmons, the Director of the Centre for Joseph Conrad Studies, is the recipient of the

Alexandre Fachard has been awarded a Fellowship by the Swiss National Science Foundation and a Visiting Fellowship, Textual Studies Centre, Institute of English Studies, University of London, 2012-13.

Alexandre Fachard has been awarded 15,000 Swiss francs from the Société Académique Vaudoise to assist with research travel and expenses for editing Within the Tides and Victory.

Richard J Hand has been awarded a British Academy Small Research Grant of £7,208 (2010) and £400 from the Society for Theatre Research (2010) for the editing of The Plays.

In 2011, The Joseph Conrad Society of America pledged $250 for three years to assist with editing the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Joseph Conrad. Since then, thanks to the generous annual donations of members of The Joseph Conrad Society of America, the Cambridge Edition has received approximately £300 per annum to support running costs, such as the purchase of digital images of pre-print materials.

In 2010, the Centre was awarded a research grant of £400 per annum by the Joseph Conrad Society (UK) towards the editing of the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Joseph Conrad.

The Centre was awarded a British Academy Small Research Grant of £7,300 (2010) for the editing of Chance and Victory.

The seal of approval by the Committee of Scholarly Editions of the Modern Language Association of America has been awarded to Last Essays (2010), Lord Jim (2011), Tales of Unrest (2012), and Within the Tides (2012).

J H Stape has been awarded an Henriette F and Clarence L Cline Research Fellowship at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin for work on the Cambridge Edition during 2010-11. He previously held an Alfred A and Blanche W Knopf Research Fellowship at the Ransom Center in 2008-09.
