Department of Sport, Health & Exercise Science Conference

The PE team in the Department of Sport, Health & Exercise Science convened and hosted a two- day conference during the Easter vacation. Nearly 40 PGCE PE Trainees from 12 other ITT providers around the country attended.

The aim was to enhance their subject knowledge, skills and understanding. Courses run were in 7 activity areas, which included "A" Level, GCSE, invasion games, striking/fielding games, gymnastics, dance and athletics.

The team would like to acknowledge the following departments for their help and efficiency in making the conference such a success: Reprographics, Housekeeping, Student Services, and the Strawberry Hill Conference Office.
