Shakespeare Festival
Drama is presenting a mini -Shakespeare festival in the last week of term.
There will be six half-hour productions in the University College Theatre as well as short pieces performed around the campus.
Also lectures and film screenings and, by arrangement with the National Trust, Shakespeare workshops for kids at Ham House at the weekends.
BBC 2 Drama
The Drama Department’s Ian Hughes will be playing John Selwyn Gummer in a new BBC 2 Drama 'Margaret' to be broadcast before Christmas.
The film charts the last days of Margaret Thatcher and the cast includes Lindsay Duncan as Margaret, Ian McDiarmid, Robert Hardy, Roy Marsden, John Sessions, Edward Fox, Michael Maloney and Rosemary Leach.
