A Memorandum of Agreement was signed with Viterbo University, La Crosse, Wisconsin on 30th October, making it the most recent addition to St Mary's overseas partner institutions.
Both institutions have long and distinguished histories. St Mary’s University College was founded in 1850 by the Catholic Poor Schools Committee and Viterbo University was founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in 1890.
Vice Principal of St Mary’s University College, Dr Michael Hayes said, "as part of the University College’s planned strategy this memorandum of agreement will enhance further the opportunities for our students to spend a semester abroad on the Study Abroad programme".
