New Radio Station Being Launched
Students at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham are launching their first online radio station in December.
SMUC Radio is student led and will broadcast six days a week from the University College’s radio studio. Independent Radio News (IRN) will supply the on-the-hour UK and international news, which will be followed by a brief round-up of University College news and events.
The Station Manager, Eamonn McCrystal, said “SMUC Radio aims to be accessible to all, staff and students alike, with our wide ranging content featuring our dedicated team of quality presenters and producers."
“One of the highlights will be our weekly entertainment slot which we will be broadcasting live from London’s West End each Wednesday night. We’ll be featuring established celebrities and the station will also be a platform to showcase our own University College talent”
