Gothic Symposium to be Hosted
The Film & Television and English programmes at St Mary's University College, Twickenham are hosting a one-day symposium on Saturday January 24 on the theme of the Gothic in the 21st Century.
The symposium will provide a focus on aspects of the Gothic within more contemporary culture, as well as historic aspects of the Gothic which provide a comment on 21st century or neo-Gothic.
The symposium will provide a wide range of themed panels and bring together researchers from different disciplines, creating a useful dialogue across the field of the Gothic.
The symposium will allow researchers in the field to identify and explore current debates on the Gothic with particular attention given to contemporary culture.
