St Mary’s University College, Twickenham, is hosting an important conference for clergy this summer (25th / 26th June) focussing on how faith is affected by a secular society.
The title of the two day event is 'Discerning a secular culture: what hope for faith?' and it will be led by Michael Paul Gallagher SJ, from the Gregorian University in Rome.
St Mary’s has a strong track record not only in offering degree courses to all levels but also in providing this kind of vocational training for those already in ministry and in the workplace. The Conference is sponsored by the Pastoral Review.
“This conference is open to all clergy and we really are hoping for a good debate on what is a key area for public ministry today,” said Dr Michael Hayes, Vice Principal.
The conference begins at 4.00pm on 25th June and finishes with lunch on 26th. Overnight accommodation is available.
