A conference exploring how different traditions of Christian spirituality can be reinvigorated in the 21st century will take place at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham this summer (30th June-3rd July).
Organised by St Mary’s , Heythrop College, the University College and Sarum College, Salisbury, the conference takes as its theme: 'Sources of Transformation: Revitalising Traditions of Christian Spirituality for Today.'
An impressive array of speakers and contributors have already been confirmed: Professors Mary Grey, Bernard McGinn and Gerald O’Collins; Drs James Alison, Bernadette Flanagan, Michael Hayes, Edward Howells, David Lonsdale, Patrick Moore, Michael O’Sullivan and Peter Tyler.
The programme also encourages group work and there is plenty of time for relaxation and networking including a boat trip to Hampton Court.
St Mary’s has a strong track record not only in offering degree courses to all levels but also in providing this kind of vocational training for those already in ministry and in the workplace.
The Conference is sponsored by St Mary’s University College, the Tablet, the Pastoral Review, HIS and Sarum College.
