Sport Rehabilitation students from St Mary’s University College, Twickenham helped at this weekend’s Playtex Moonwalk in London, which raises funds for breast cancer.
It is a unique event as all participants power walk a marathon (26.2 miles) or half marathon (13.1 miles), depending on which distance they have chosen.
The students worked from 8.00am until midnight giving massages to hundreds of walkers.
Lecturer Samantha McGill said, "The feedback from the walkers was fantastic and many of them said that it was the best massage that they had ever had. The students were outstanding; they were professional, enthusiastic and a real credit to the University College."
