Graduation Ceremonies Held

Students from a wide range of degree programmes received their awards at the graduation ceremonies of St Mary’s University College at Westminster Cathedral on Wednesday 15th July.

Over the course of the day at three ceremonies (attended in all by more than 3,000 people: students, their guests and staff) BA and BSc degrees, Foundation degrees and two PhDs were awarded.

Bishop George Stack, Chair of Governors, presided and Dr Arthur Naylor, Principal, conferred degrees.

Dr Naylor said: “Over many years students have had very high levels of employment on completion of degrees at St Mary’s. In wishing this year’s graduates well in the immediate more challenging economic circumstances I know that they will go on to make as important a contribution to society as their predecessors over many generations”.
