Dr Michael Hayes signing the agreement

Agreement Signed With the Catholic University of America

2010 is set to be another highly successful year for St Mary’s University College, Twickenham as far as international expansion is concerned.

The year was kick-started with Vice Principal Dr Michael Hayes signing a Memorandum of Agreement on behalf of St Mary’s with the Catholic University of America in Washington DC.

This agreement with the distinguished Catholic University of America is an important addition to the rapidly growing number of partner universities the University College has around the world in countries as far away as Australia, Canada, China and South Korea, as well as existing links in the USA.

Having recently become the first international member of the USA-based National Catholic Colleges Admissions Association (NCCAA) St Mary’s links, particularly with Catholic universities, are likely to increase considerably within the next year.

More institutional links will mean not only larger numbers of international Study Abroad students at the university college, but also greater choice for St Mary’s ‘home students’ who wish to spend part of their degree programme abroad.
