New TPH Appointments Announced

Dr Daniel Grey, currently a Lecturer in History at St Mary's University College, has been awarded a prestigious Junior Research Fellowship at Wolfson College, Oxford. This three year appointment will enable him to pursue his research interests in gender, law and medicine in 19th British and colonial contexts.

Dr Grey will leave St Mary's during the summer to take up this appointment.  

Meanwhile, the School of Theology, Philosophy and History has appointed Dr Sinead McEneaney as Lecturer in History. She is currently at the National University of Ireland Maynooth and is an expert in modern American history. 

Dr McEneaney takes up her position in September.

Dr Glenn Richardson, Academic Director of the School and History Programme Director said "We are delighted to welcome Dr McEneaney whose expertise will contribute greatly to our aims of providing teaching and conducting further research in international, comparative cultural history".
