Richmond Mayor Attends Borough Sports Day

St Mary’s University College, Twickenham hosted the Richmond Borough Primary Schools Sports Day on Wednesday 7th July.

Thirty four primary schools from the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames attended, and the children were supported by teachers, families and friends.

As part of the day the Mayor and Lady Mayoress presented prizes, along with Ian Dodds, Head of Culture for the Richmond Education Department, and Fraser Cullen, Community Relations Manager of the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

The annual event has been running since 1935, with this year’s event hosting competitors aged 10 to 11 from each of the 34 Richmond schools.
