Staff Take Part in Teddington Cycle Challenge

Staff at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham will be taking part in the Teddington Cycle Challenge this November. Staff from all departments will be creating teams and choosing a week in November to accumulate their cycling mileage.

All organisations in Teddington are eligible to participate and the one with the most miles will be named ‘Teddington’s Best Winter Cycling Organisation’.

The aim of the challenge is to encourage cycling through the winter months in order to stay healthy and alleviate the congestion caused by car use. All individuals who submit their mileage will receive a free cycle computer, winter cycling kit and cycle guide.

The winner of ‘Teddington’s Best Winter Cycling Organisation’ will also win an on site breakfast and a free two hour 'Dr Bike Session' to solve any cycle maintenance issues.
