Photographer Alex Bailey Delivers Lecture at St Mary’s

Photographer Alex Bailey delivers guest lecture at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham, exploring his work in stills photography and cinematography.

On Wednesday 27th February, students and staff at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham will have the opportunity to meet one of the world’s leading movie stills photographers Alex Bailey. Alex has photographed a string of Hollywood films including Snow White and the Huntsman, the Iron Lady, Sherlock Holmes, and The Other Boleyn Girl. This Wednesday he will deliver a lecture at St Mary’s Strawberry Hill campus that explores his work in stills photography and cinematography. The visit has been organised by the School of Communication, Culture and Creative Arts as part of the undergraduate Media Arts course. Programme Director Lee Brooks commented, “We are extremely lucky and very excited to be able to welcome Alex to St Mary’s. His website and IMDB page are like a who’s who of Hollywood’s A-list and his portfolio features some of the most iconic movie photographs of the last few decades.” Spaces are strictly limited to 20 people on a first come first served basis.
