University College to Hold Guest Lecture Exploring Intercultural Communication

Prof Federico Siniscalco (University of Siena) is to host two lectures exploring intercultural communication at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham.

Prof Federico Siniscalco (University of Siena, Italy) is to host two guest lectures exploring intercultural communication at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham. The lectures have been organised by St Mary’s International Office, which offers a study abroad programme for undergraduate students in conjunction with the Media Arts programme. The first, on 23rd April, will explore intercultural communication through the use of digital video. The second lecture, on 25th April, is aimed at students considering the study abroad programme at the University of Siena. Prof Siniscalco teaches American Studies, with a focus on American culture and intercultural communication. He is also the founder and director of DavID (Digital audio visual Intercultural Documentation), a research lab dedicated to the production, subtitling and archiving of documentary films. ‘Intercultural Communication through Digital Video’ will take place on Tuesday 23rd April at 3.30pm and ‘Studying and Living in Arezzo as a Visiting Student’ is being held on Thursday 25th April at 11am.
