St Mary’s Congratulates Archbishop Nichols on Cardinal Appointment

St Mary’s University College, Twickenham is pleased to congratulate Archbishop of Westminster Vincent Nichols, who is to be made Cardinal by Pope Francis. It was announced on Sunday 12^th January that Archbishop Nichols, who visited St Mary’s Strawberry hill campus during the Papal visit in 2010, is to be one of the 19 new Cardinals who will be appointed during the next consistory of Cardinals in February. Bishop Richard Moth, Chair to the Board of Governors at the University College said, “On behalf of the Governing body, staff and students at St Mary’s, I would like to congratulate Archbishop Nichols on his appointment.”
