St Mary's Launches Mobile Microsite

This week St Mary's University College launched a new website aimed at people browsing the internet on their mobile phones. Mobile web surfing is becoming increasingly popular, and St Mary's is among the first Higher Education institutions in the UK to cater for mobile phone users with content written specifically for viewing on a phone handset.

Text on the mobile microsite is concise and easy to read, and the site contains the kind of information that St Mary's staff, students and visitors may need to access while on the move, including:

The University College address and postcode

Directions for visitors to the Twickenham campus

Useful phone numbers and email addresses

An A-Z phone directory listing staff in Schools

To access the site on your mobile phone, go to www.smuc.ac.uk and click on the mobile users link. This will bring you to the microsite home page.
