Assessment Methods
Assessment through the course is continuous and takes a variety of forms including self-assessment, peer assessment and tutor/teacher assessment.
The DfES / TDA standards require trainees to undertake national skills tests in English, mathematics and ICT. Success in these tests is required before Newly Qualified Teacher Status can be awarded. High standards of attendance, punctuality and participation are requirements of all course elements.
