You should apply for Masters courses using one of the application forms below. Generally, your application should be accompanied by two references (one of which should be academic) and a copy of the certificate of the highest qualification you have gained to date – please see the relevant application form for instructions.
Forms are considered by Programme Directors who may interview you before making a decision. Your interest in and commitment to the course, your academic background and qualifications and professional interests and experience will be taken into account when evaluating your suitability.
For additional entry requirements specific to individual courses, please see the course's webpages. Applicants to Masters programmes are normally required to have at least a second class honours degree from a UK university or equivalent qualification and/or professional interests and experience relevant to their chosen course, together with appropriate references.
Referees can be anyone who knows you well enough to attest to your ability to follow a programme of study at Masters level. This could be a tutor from your University, or your current employer.
Candidates who do not have a first degree or relevant experience, but who nonetheless are considered to have the potential to successfully undertake Masters level study, may be required to register for an initial module or undertake a level 3 module to assess their suitability.
Hard copies of these forms can be requested from the Registry Admissions Assistant (020 8240 4027 • firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please see the postgraduate research page or contact the Head of School in the area of your personal research. The Head of School can arrange an interview with you and take you through the process of registration.
International / Overseas applicants may contact Mariann Baker, Head of International Office
