The Public Health workforce strives to prevent disease, prolong life and promote health in society. Epidemiological research has clearly established that an individual’s diet and physical activity patterns both play a significant role in promoting health and preventing disease.

This course will therefore consider the role of nutrition and physical activity in determining the health of both individuals and the population.

In recognition of the diverse array of skills required for public health this Masters/Diploma has been developed for practitioners with either clinical or non clinical backgrounds.
