Our students will have access to industry standard technical facilities, including digital SLR cameras16:9 High Definition cameras, voice recorders, and other video production kit as well as our TV Studio, Radio Studio, and Digital Media and Video Editing Suites. The students can also boradcast live and recorded shows for SMUC Radio.
These facilities reflect the current state of the media and are designed to prepare students for the workplace. We work on the latest Apple Mac computers and mostly use Adobe software, such as Final Cut Pro.
Our technical support staff specialise in television production, video editing, digital media and audio recording. They function as learning support for all your multimedia journalism training and ensure that you have the necessary technical back up when you go out on your work placements.
