Work Placements
An essential part of your training programme, your work placement will give you the opportunity to apply your skills in a real newsroom and make those all important industry contacts. Our students will take full advantage of the our London location as well as our extensive contacts in the industry.
You can choose where you do your work placement, but we will provide recommendations, contacts and advice about how you can secure work experience with national and local newspapers, magazines and broadcasters.
A unique feature of your training programme will include regular opportunities to work at News Associates / Sportsbeat's main newsroom in Wimbledon. For students interested in specialising in Sports Journalism, this is a great chance to see how a busy sports news agency operates into today's competitive world of news gathering.
