Start of Teaching

Start of Term

Term will start on Monday 12th September 2011.

Your module teaching will start immediately on that day, should you be timetabled to have lectures and tutorials on a Monday. It is therefore vital that you know the modules that you have chosen for Semester One of the 2011/12 academic year.

Please make sure that you attend the first session for all modules that you're taking in Week One.

In order to find out where and when the modules that you've chosen are being taught in Semester One please see the Checking Your Timetable Online page.

Module Changes

Once you've checked your module reports, if you wish to make any changes to the modules you've registered for in 2011/12 please speak to members of your programme team(s) during the first two weeks of term.

Before speaking to them please fill out a Module Choice Change (MCC1) form and take it along with you when you meet with them. This form is also available as a paper copy in Registry or the LRC.

Programme staff have been asked to advertise the times and places when they'll be available to meet yopu on your programme notice boards. If you're unsure, please go and ask your Programme Administrator.

Any changes you wish to make must be made in the first two weeks of this semester (by Friday 23rd September at the latest).

Changing Your Programme

If you wish to change your programme of study (for example from Joint to Single Honours) you will need to do this using a Status Change Form and bring it to the Registry (room N45 opposite the Student’s Union, see campus map for location).

Registry will make sure that they have a supply of these forms for you to collect at registration and will be able to answer any questions once you've been through registration.

As you should already know, you must be registered for 120 credits in order to have enough credits to qualify for a degree. (ITT Primary students register for a higher number.)
