Biography
Kathy was a primary art specialist and art co-ordinator in Hackney schools for many years before joining an arts team set up by Southwark Council to raise achievement through the arts. Subsequently, Kathy worked at Kingston University on BA and PGCE courses, devising and delivering modules on primary art education.
I have also run family art workshops for Syrian refugee families, and have worked with galleries on teachers' notes to support them with their work on exhibitions with their classes.

Kathy's research interest are in whether the enjoyment and confidence of upper KS2 children in making art is enhanced if they learn about how artists have collaborated within art movements.
