The slideshow above features photos of a typical room in De Marillac Hall. Each room has a single bed, radiator, bedside table, desk, shelving, pinboard, wardrobe and ensuite shower/toilet capsule.
Photos of a typical kitchen area have also been included. These areas contain fridges, microwaves, kettles, toasters, ironing boards, sinks, tables and chairs, cupboard space and food lockers (however, please note there are no cooking facilities).
Constructed
in 2005, De Marillac Hall is situated in a quiet location at the far end
of the athletics track, adjacent to Graham, Wiseman and Doyle Halls.
Resident students will enjoy tastefully furnished,
single study bedrooms with ensuite facilities.
The four-storey building boasts 180 bedrooms, together with spacious utility kitchen/common rooms. Lift access is available for disabled students.
Broadband internet is available free of charge in all student bedrooms on campus. An ethernet cable is required to connect.
Free internet access is also available in the Learning Resources Centre (LRC) / i-learn café 24hrs a day.
