Accommodation in Halls of Residence
The Accommodation Office at St Mary’s deals primarily with arranging student accommodation in halls of residence, but we can also offer advice to help students find off campus accommodation.
New Students
We will endeavour to offer students a room in halls for their first year. Allocations are made on a first come, first served basis.
Students moving into halls in September will receive accommodation information, including details of the hall they have been allocated, by late June/early July.
International Students
Assistance is given to short-stay international students requiring private accommodation in the area and lodgings can be arranged with friendly local families. Long-stay international students should see the Accommodation page in the International section.
Returning Students
Advice is given to students on finding off-campus accommodation in house and flat-shares, or in lodgings with local families. We maintain property lists and also provide details of local lettings agents who are helpful to students.
