We encourage all applicants to disclose their additional requirements at the earliest possible opportunity. This allows us to assess the provision required and discuss the various available support options with the applicant concerned.
We invite interested applicants, particularly those with mobility impairments or complex medical conditions, to visit the campus before their application and meet with the DDC.
This provides an opportunity for the applicant to gather all the necessary information and assess the facilities, as some of the older buildings vary in accessibility. It also helps applicants to decide whether St Mary's is a suitable place for their study and support needs.
Disability Equality Scheme • Admission arrangements for disabled applicants
Students are encouraged to contact the Dyslexia and Disability Service in person as soon as possible after registration, even if their disability or dyslexia has been indicated on their application forms. This allows us to discuss any support arrangements which need to be made and implemented.
Any information disclosed will only be passed on to other staff with your written permission.
