Available Support

Here at St Mary's we offer advice and support to our students who have requirements as a result of a disability, specific learning difficulty (eg dyslexia), medical condition or temporary disability, such as injury. This includes students who:

  • have a specific learning difficulty eg dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia
  • are blind / visually impaired
  • are deaf / hearing impaired
  • have mobility difficulties
  • have autistic spectrum disorder / Asperger’s Syndrome
  • have mental health difficulties
  • have hidden impairments eg asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, heart condition
  • have medical conditions which affect studying eg ME
  • are injured eg broken limbs
  • have short-term illnesses which affect studying
