Access to Learning Fund
The above hardship fund is provided by central government and is administered by Student Services. It is aimed to support vulnerable students who need additional financial help to meet particular costs which are not being met from statutory (or other) sources of funding.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
'Home' undergraduate and postgraduate students, full-time and part-time (if the student is studying at least 50% of a full-time course) and in the following categories:
- Students with children
- Mature or disabled students
- Final year students
- Students from low income families
- Students from Foyers, or homeless
- Students who have been in care
Applications forms for the academic year 2012/13 will be available from the Student Services Centre..
