Geography is about understanding places. It looks at our world, and the places we make in our world. Geography will give you a well-respected degree, and the skills to progress in your chosen career.
Geography at St Mary’s can be studied either as a Single Honours degree, or as part of a Joint Honours degree in combination with a range of other subjects. Informed by the research interests of our teaching staff, the degree looks at the interplay of physical, social, cultural and political forces in different places and at a variety of scales. There are opportunities for fieldwork both in the UK and overseas, including the Peak District, Malta, and Grenada. The degree includes opportunities to take career-development modules to advance your future prospects.
“I warmly congratulate the team for the excellence they provide in terms of the quality and variety of student experience, undergraduate learning and pastoral care.”
