TV Studio
Our TV studio is equipped to teach all aspects of TV production and provides industry experience of working as production staff in the gallery and as camera operators and managers on the studio floor. We have 4 cameras mounted on professional studio pedestals, 2 of which have Autocue screens for on-camera script reading.
On the TV courses, students produce a variety of ‘magazine’ programmes including sports reviews, “blind date”, cooking, fashion, film reviews and music. These magazine programmes are filmed in the studio and edited using Final Cut Pro and Motion video editing software.
In addition to the TV courses, the facility is used for single camera training for location video and as a controlled lighting environment for digital photography.
