Undergraduate Open Events
Please note: These events are for pre-application students only. Post-application students should see our Post-Application Visit Days webpage.
Background
Pre-application open events run in June, September, October and November and are designed for prospective students who have not yet chosen which university they wish to attend. The events allow prospective students to find out more about St Mary's and the various courses on offer before they fill in their UCAS form, the deadline for which is January 15th for the following September entry.

What you can experience on the day
Introductory talks, campus tours (including accommodation and teaching/learning facilities) and subject talks, either in the form of a drop in session or a larger talk elsewhere on campus.
You will be shown around the campus by a current St Mary’s student and will be able to meet academic tutors, who will all be happy to answer any questions you may have. We also provide sessions on student finance, and staff will be on hand throughout the day to clear up any other general queries you may have about Higher Education.

- Wednesday (evening) 7th November
Full details and timetables will be made available here nearer to the date of each event. If you wish to book transport or accommodation in preparation for the pre application open days we advise arriving on campus no later than 10.30am with the day running until no later than 4pm.
The open evening will run from 5pm to 8pm. In order to see everything it is advisable to arrive for 5pm, but you may be finished before 8pm.

Parking
Please be advised there is very limited parking on campus (except pre allocated disabled parking bays). There will be limited parking in the local area but we do advise you use public transport if at all possible. Please ring the recruitment office 020 8240 2314 if you wish to allocate one of our disabled parking bays on campus.
Unable to attend one of our open events?
If you are unable to attend one of our open events but would still like to view St Mary’s, please contact Rachel or Francesca in the Recruitment Office on 020 8240 2314 or email recruit@smuc.ac.uk. We will do our best to arrange a suitable time to conduct an informal tour of the campus for you (Please note that we cannot arrange for you to meet academic staff, and we cannot guarantee you will be able to view any of our halls of residence).
