The Physical and Sport Education degree provides you with a critical understanding of Physical Education and Sport Education in the UK.
We aim to be the course of choice for students preparing to be future leaders in Physical Education and Sport Education. We strive to ensure all students and staff continue to learn through their involvement in the programme. We work to support the holistic education of our students in an environment that values diversity and enables all individuals to fulfil their potential
We believe critical research informs our teaching and that by modelling reflectiveness and continued learning in our own practice we inspire our students to do the same. We value the positive impact student – staff collaboration has on the student experience at St Mary’s.
The programme enables you to explore, understand and apply key concepts of Physical and Sport Education through a theoretical and applied approach that requires students to engage as active learners in a variety of practical and theoretical contexts.
