Kasia Zaremba-Byrne trained at the Ecole Phillippe Gaulier and with Monika Pagneux. She has performed throughout Europe and the UK in a number of productions including work for Commotion Theatre and Genoa 1 directed by Simon McBurney at the Royal Court.
In 2001, she was the co-founder of the award-winning New International Encounter which tours extensively in Norway, the Czech Republic and throughout the UK. She continues to work as movement director and producer for NIE which is currently presenting its latest work in New York.
As a physical theatre lecturer she initially taught at Rose Bruford Drama School and then at CATS, Cambridge and the Bridge Training Theatre School. She has taught performance workshops throughout Central Europe and in the US.
