Laura Blackhall is the Head of UK Student Recruitment and has worked in the Higher Education sector in variety of roles within the UK and overseas since 2006.
She has previously worked as a lecturer in English for Academic Purposes and spent five years teaching on an education programme with the United Arab Emirates Military at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. She has also worked as an hourly paid lecturer at Birkbeck, Kingston University, and the University pathway provider INTO.
Since progressing out of teaching Laura has undertaken a range of administrative roles within Higher Education and has worked as an Admissions Officer at St George’s University, an International Student Advisor at Kingston University, and a Regional Manager at West London College.
Laura has been employed at St Mary’s University since 2017, and during this time has progressed from Student Recruitment Manager to Head of UK Student Recruitment
