Biography
Lord Glasman is a political theorist, academic, social commentator, and Labour life peer in the House of Lords. He is also the director of the Common Good Foundation.
Prior to becoming a peer, he worked for ten years for London Citizens on their Living Wage campaign. He is widely known for establishing “Blue Labour”, a conservative form of socialism within the Labour party which encourages a return to community values based on trade unions, the Church and voluntary groups.
Lord Glasman joined St Mary’s in September 2021 and teaches throughout the (BA) Politics and International Relations and (MA) Diplomacy and International Relations programmes.
